The brand has always chased the unexpected pairing, incense alongside gourmand, resin cut with sugar. Exotique sits squarely in that lane. The concept threads Turkish coffee, shisha tobacco, a vanilla cupcake accord, and Somali frankincense into a single composition, four notes that shouldn't comfortably coexist but somehow do. On skin, the smoke and the sugar are never far apart. The Turkish coffee grounds the opening with its roasted, almost burnt bitterness, a dark crema note that feels more extracted than brewed. The shisha tobacco adds a sweetened smoke, almost like honey poured over charcoal, giving the composition its hazy warmth.
What makes the composition interesting is how few things it actually asks you to care about.
