Zimaya launched in 2023 in the UAE under Afnan, bringing a fresh creative energy to the portfolio under art director Imran Fazlani. A Fairy Tale emerged as a scent meant to feel like a nighttime story unfolding, using rum and cedar in the opening to evoke candlelit drama right from the first spray. The brand fused Arabic perfume heritage with modern, accessible design, delivering bold yet wearable scents for everyday luxury.
The note progression reflects a philosophy of contrast: boozy warmth against dry wood, jammy sweetness against spicy complexity, and earthy depth against sweet comfort. Each layer builds on the previous, creating a scent that feels cohesive yet evolves meaningfully over time.
