The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Sophie Labbe designed Touch Flower Edition in 2014 as a special collector's bottle within the Touch line, a house already known for approachable, everyday luxury. The Touch collection had established itself on soft florals and gentle warmth, but the Flower Edition pushed further into open sweetness and feminine richness. This wasn't a flanker meant to extend the range quietly. It was positioned as something worth collecting, a deliberate statement that sweetness itself could be the point, not a compromise.
The white floral heart is the structural surprise. Tiare flower, jasmine, and osmanthus don't just coexist, osmanthus acts as a bridge between the delicate florals and the edible base. Its apricot-peach quality connects to the raspberry and honey in a way that feels intentional rather than accidental. The result is a fragrance where sweetness never fights the florals. They arrive together, stay together, and leave together.
The evolution
The opening is cool and clear. Freesia and lily of the valley arrive with the quiet confidence of morning light through curtains, not sharp, not synthetic, just present. Lotus keeps things slightly aqueous, like the memory of rain. The heart takes over around the first hour. Tiare flower asserts itself, tropical and warm, while jasmine creams everything it touches. Honey creeps in. Raspberry gives just enough tartness to keep the sweetness honest. Then the drydown. Vanilla and almond settle close to skin, soft and edible. Community consensus holds that this one accompanies a workday comfortably while staying respectful of shared spaces.
Cultural impact
Touch Flower Edition arrived as part of an evolution within the Touch line, a move toward more floral, fruity, and gourmand interpretations. As a collector's edition, it sits at the more overtly feminine end of the Tous range. The sweet-powdery-floral profile tends to appeal to wearers looking for warmth, comfort, and approachability rather than complexity or edge.
