The beginning
Girl Gang Code arrived in 2025 from The Dua Brand's Inspired Expression line. Perfumer Mahsam Raza composed it as an interpretation of Jusbox's Sisters B4 Misters. The fragrance wears its name with a kind of directness that asks for nothing: banana and strawberry spill out over a creamy milk accord, full-bodied and unapologetic in their sweetness, while iris powder and sandalwood move underneath to keep the whole composition grounded. There's a brightness at the edges too, a ginger-lime snap that keeps the dessert notes from settling into something flat. It is gourmand without leaning on sugar alone, and the fruity top notes share space with the woods rather than disappearing into them.
The interesting move here is structural, and it rewards close attention. Most compositions settle into a clear top-heart-base arc, but Girl Gang Code keeps its core notes visible across the wear. Banana and strawberry carry through the opening, sit firmly in the heart beside milk, and never fully recede even as the base asserts itself.
