The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Creamy Coffee & Sweets arrives in 2026 from The Dua Brand's Original Blend Collection. Perfumer Mahsam Raza composed this one as an unapologetic comfort composition, no floral distraction, no aromatic smoke screen. Just coffee, cream, and the warm-baked sweetness of a patisserie counter at closing time. The opening pour is rich and immediate, with that dark roasted coffee note hitting first, almost bitter in its authenticity, like the first sip of an espresso pulled tight. Then the cream rolls in, softening the edges without dulling them, wrapping the roast in a buttery roundness that sits close to the skin.
What makes the composition worth a second look is the way the gourmand elements stack. The opening leads with coffee and cream, which sets up an expectation of something rich and milky. Then the heart delivers brown sugar, custard, vanilla, vanilla cake, and vanilla cream all in conversation with each other, building a layered sweetness that reads more like a real dessert than a synthetic sugar note. The vanilla variations add depth: custard brings warmth, cake adds a baked-bread quality, and cream keeps everything soft. Woody notes and a pastry accord in the base give the whole thing something to lean against, preventing it from collapsing into flat sweetness.
The evolution
The first ten minutes are coffee at full volume, dark roast cut by cool cream, almost like a freshly poured espresso settling into its crema. Around the thirty-minute mark the brown sugar and custard arrive, and the scent shifts from beverage to bakery, warm, sweet, and a little golden. The vanilla layers build through the second and third hours, with the cake accord adding a bready softness that keeps the sweetness grounded. By the fourth hour the coffee has retreated, and what lingers is the creamy, woody base: pastry notes still present but now sitting against something darker and drier, almost like the faint trace of wood paneling in a café after closing. On fabric the next morning, it reads as vanilla and warm wood, quiet, edible, a suggestion of what you wore the day before.
Cultural impact
Creamy Coffee & Sweets sits firmly in the gourmand comfort zone, a space defined by edible notes and the kind of warmth that reads as familiar from the first spray. It's a fragrance built for the person who treats coffee less as a beverage and more as a lifestyle, and who wants that warmth to travel with them past the café door. The scent leans into its sweetness without becoming cloying, balancing the roasted bitterness of coffee against a creamy, almost milky softness that keeps the composition grounded.
