The beginning
ZoZo draws from the bold tradition of white floral compositions, the kind that smell like a statement rather than a suggestion. Milton Lloyd built this fragrance around the tension between heady gardenia and the clean lift of aldehydes, adding orange blossom as a bridge between the lush opening and the warm, powdery base. The goal was refreshment without lightweight, a classic floral structure with enough conviction to hold its own against the decades it references. No named inspiration, no origin myth. Just tuberose doing what tuberose does best.
What makes ZoZo interesting is the aldehydes. In most contemporary fragrances, aldehydes have been sidelined, too retro, too demanding.
