The composition leans into two of the Gulf's most loaded materials, saffron and oud, treating them as the central pillars of the formula. The name says exactly what's inside. The fragrance says a little more. On skin, the saffron opens with a vivid, almost bitter brightness, a thread of spice that registers almost immediately as something colder than expected. Beneath that initial flash, the oud unfurls slowly, presenting a resinous weight that anchors the composition from the first few minutes onward. Where many oud-forward launches lead with smoke or leather, this one holds back, letting the saffron hold court at the top while the wood waits underneath.
What separates this from the standard oud-saffron template is the metallic thread running through the heart.
