The result is a fougère-adjacent structure built around brightness rather than darkness, with the citrus doing the heavy lifting and the mossy base notes providing structure underneath.

The evolution

The first ten minutes are pure bright: lime and bergamot hit the nose with immediate impact, and the orange zest keeps the brightness from feeling sharp or aggressive. Cypress arrives quickly, threading through the citrus with a cool, resinous green that adds structure to the opening. As the top notes soften, tree moss plus a whisper of patchouli take over, lending the composition a damp, forest-floor warmth that grounds the earlier brightness. The drydown leans on tree moss, and it lingers on skin in close quarters. On a rolled-on oil base, the fragrance stays intimate rather than projecting, meaning you'll smell it when you move but a stranger across the room likely won't.
