The note structure here is worth pausing on. Palm tree and pear blossom as top notes is an unusual pairing, palms bring green, slightly waxy texture while pear blossom adds a delicate, almost powdery sweetness. Together they create an opening that feels neither citrus-bright nor overly floral, sitting somewhere in between like morning light through a window. The heart triples down on white florals, frangipani, jasmine, tuberose, which is a classic tropical combination, but the execution stays restrained. The evolution
The opening arrives crisp and green, bergamot first, then the palm note asserting itself with a waxy, almost mineral quality. Pear blossom softens everything, keeping it from veering too sharp. Within fifteen minutes, the heart takes over: frangipani leads, tropical and heady, but jasmine slides in to ground it with something more familiar, more human. Tuberose is the quiet presence, creamy, present but not dominating. By the second hour, the drydown announces itself softly. Blonde woods and musk blend into something skin-like, almost skin-equivalent, and vanilla appears just enough to warm the edges. Four to six hours of total wear, with the base lasting longer than you'd expect given the moderate sillage.
