Misk Al Oudh arrived in 2011, and the formula treats agarwood as more than an ingredient. Ajmal, the perfumery responsible for the blend, treats two of Arabian perfumery's most enduring materials as a study in restraint rather than spectacle. The nose behind this particular composition is Nazir Ajmal, who shaped the formula with an approach that prizes balance over boldness. Two pillars, nothing extra, no ornament. The fragrance takes its name from these two materials, and everything about the blend reflects that simplicity. Agarwood and musk, placed beside each other without interference or filler, each given room to speak without shouting over the other. It's a deliberate construction that asks the wearer to slow down and pay attention rather than to be impressed by force.
What makes the composition interesting is the ratio. Here, musk arrives as a co-lead, wrapping the agarwood before it can feel overwhelming. The evolution

The oud doesn't disappear. It sinks deeper, losing its sharper edges while the musk rises to wrap around it. Three hours in, the fragrance has become something quieter and more intimate, a warm skin-close hum where neither material dominates. The transition from opening to drydown happens gradually, almost imperceptibly, like watching dusk arrive without marking the exact moment the light changed. Later in the wear, the sweetness buried in the opening begins to surface, lending a gentle lift to the musk and keeping the agarwood from feeling heavy.
