The jasmine adds dimension through its creamy warmth, rounding the sharper edges of the iris while contributing its own soft floral presence. The musk at the base provides the steady foundation, its clean animalic trace supporting everything above it. Together, these three components form a finished composition that holds its shape across hours of wear.

The evolution

On skin, Surrounding Thread reveals itself in stages. The first spray arrives light and close, a delicate floral whisper that registers as more impression than statement. Within roughly ten minutes, the iris settles into its fuller character, taking on a powdery density that grounds the airy opening. As the jasmine emerges over the following half hour, it introduces a creamy warmth that softens the coolness of the iris without ever tipping into sweetness. The drydown brings the musk forward, and from there it becomes the dominant voice, carrying a warm, soapy, just-showered quality that clings close to the body.
