Why it exists.
The beginning
Trend Perfumes, operating from the UAE since 2015, built the Icarus Collection around themes of aspiration and the climb toward ambition. The collection represents different phases of that journey, with Icarus Intense conceived as the boldest expression within the line. Cristian Calabro worked from a foundation of contrasts, pairing bright citrus immediacy with deeper, earthier foundations to mirror the tension between rising and falling, reaching and returning. The choice of iris as a heart note adds a dimension of artistic refinement rarely found in intensity-focused compositions.
The note selection reflects a deliberate philosophy of contrast and balance. Citrus and mandarin create an opening that grabs attention immediately, satisfying the need for presence and impact. Iris brings artistic sophistication, often associated with high-end perfumery, lending credibility and depth. Orange blossom adds accessibility through its familiar floral sweetness.
