Heritage
A house, in its own words
Trend Perfumes emerged from a group of friends who shared a love of timeless elegance and a desire to craft scents outside mainstream trends. Reportedly, the founders met in the United Arab Emirates around 2014, each bringing experience from Italy’s artisanal perfume workshops and Switzerland’s precision manufacturing. They launched the first collection in 2015, introducing a series of unisex fragrances that emphasized balance over flash. Early releases such as Royal Leather (2018) and Luban Vetiver (2018) earned modest attention in niche fragrance blogs, establishing the brand’s reputation for consistent quality. In 2020 the house opened a small laboratory in Dubai, allowing direct oversight of blending and bottling. The following year it introduced Icarus, a citrus‑spicy composition that marked the brand’s first foray into limited‑edition drops. 2022 saw the release of Icarus Intense, a deeper version that highlighted the house’s willingness to revisit and refine existing scents. 2024 added Eyala and Sirin, two fragrances inspired by Middle Eastern flora, reinforcing the brand’s regional roots. By 2025 Trend Perfumes expanded its portfolio with Aquaman and Amagi, scents that explore marine and futuristic themes while retaining the house’s signature restraint. Throughout its growth, the brand has kept a modest public profile, relying on word‑of‑mouth and independent reviews rather than large advertising campaigns. The company continues to operate from its Dubai hub, coordinating with partner perfumers across Europe and the Middle East. Trend Perfumes believes that a fragrance should tell a single, honest story. The house avoids over‑layered accords and instead focuses on a core idea, whether that idea is a marine horizon, a desert bloom, or a leather workshop. It values transparency in ingredient sourcing and encourages consumers to learn the notes that make up each perfume. The brand’s creative process starts with a brief that captures a mood or place, then a perfumer translates that brief into a formula that respects both tradition and modern chemistry. Sustainability informs the house’s decisions; it prefers natural extracts that are harvested responsibly and synthetic molecules that reduce ecological impact. Trend Perfumes also supports emerging perfumers, offering them a platform to release limited runs under the brand’s label. This collaborative spirit reflects the house’s view that perfume is both an art and a shared craft. By keeping its portfolio focused, the brand aims to let each scent stand on its own merit without relying on hype or celebrity endorsement.
