Composed by George Papachatzis as part of the Journaper Perfumes collection for The Greek Perfumer, it draws on the brand's appetite for intrigue, hidden passions, and Mediterranean drama. The scene the house paints: the patio of Baron de Benevale in Piano di Sorrento, granite pride meeting fragile tenderness under the same sun. This is the emblematic version of that story, what the house calls an unconventional knight with a generous heart. The composition doesn't apologize for its own confidence. It opens assertive, builds deliberately, and leaves a leather-and-cinnamon trail that reads as someone who knows exactly which room they're walking into.
What makes this composition interesting is its restraint within boldness, and the way every listed ingredient earns its place. Black pepper and bergamot give the opening its crackle, a brightness with bite rather than a generic burst of citrus.
