The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Released in 2022, Seduction For Him joined The Dua Brand's Encounter Scents collection, a line of wearable compositions built around accessible masculine profiles. This one leans into the warm-sweet tradition, a fougere-meets-tonka composition with enough spice to keep things sharp on the opening. It's classified as an Aromatic Fougere and bottled as an Extrait de Parfum at 100 ml, a concentration that places it among the longer-lasting formats on the market. The juice itself opens with a bright snap of pink pepper and a dusting of cinnamon that registers more aromatic than dessert-like, then settles into the chestnut and roasted tonka heart within minutes.
What makes Seduction For Him work is the chestnut and roasted tonka pairing, two notes that bring out the best in each other when handled carefully. Chestnut brings a toasted, almost nutty dryness that keeps the tonka from collapsing into straight sweetness, almost like caramelized sugar with a faintly woody edge. Pink pepper and cinnamon layer in warmth without going baking-spicy, holding that bright top register for the first twenty minutes before the base takes over.
The evolution
The first 15 minutes are where the Amalfi lemon does its job, bright and slightly saline, cutting through the spice before the cinnamon and cardamom settle in. By the 30-minute mark, the chestnut arrives, toasted and warm, pushing the fruit and citrus aside without erasing them. The roasted tonka bean takes over by hour two, spreading across skin like a slow caramel. The white musk underneath keeps everything grounded, never letting the sweetness float away into something synthetic. From hour four onward it's pure warmth: tonka, amberwood, a faint trace of cedar. On fabric the drydown lingers through the next morning, softer but still present.
Cultural impact
Seduction For Him occupies the warm-sweet masculine space with a chestnut-and-tonka profile that reads immediately as a fall and winter composition. The opening leans spicy from the pink pepper and cinnamon, then transitions through that toasted chestnut heart before settling into an amberwood and white musk base that carries the scent for the better part of a day. It's the kind of profile that performs well in cooler temperatures, where the warm, sweet facets get amplified rather than washed out by heat.
