The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Prin Lomros has a habit of building fragrances around specific moments, and Green Lunar is no exception. Released in 2023 through his house Strangers Parfumerie, the scent was built around a cannabis accord drawn from a personal experience: a night spent smoking under a starry sky with a waning crescent moon overhead. Native cannabis gave Lomros a starting point, a botanical anchor rooted in something he knew firsthand rather than something he read about. From there, the composition grew into something that captures the green-cool air of that setting, herbal, resinous, and quiet. You can almost feel the temperature drop in the top notes, where sage and eucalyptus do the work of open sky and night breeze.
Green Lunar treats cannabis as a botanical ingredient rather than a statement. There's no attempt to recreate a headshop or a burning room. Sage and eucalyptus carry the freshness, bright and almost bracing at the opening, like stepping outside into cold air. Birch tar adds a smoky undertone that suggests fire, not smoke, the difference between a campfire glimpsed from a distance and a cigarette held too close. Copaiba balsam and guaiac wood bring a resinous warmth that anchors the green elements without burying them. The accord breathes rather than announces itself.
The evolution
The first fifteen minutes are bright and almost medicinal. Sage, eucalyptus, and pink pepper snap at the edges while cardamom rounds the corners. Honey pomelo adds a faint citrus sweetness that reads more as atmosphere than fruit, a suggestion rather than a statement. By the thirty-minute mark, the green deepens. Hemp, clary sage, and grass take over, and the cannabis accord settles into something earthy and grounded rather than sharp. Copaiba balsam and guaiac wood warm the middle phase, lending a low hum of resin beneath the herbal canopy. The drydown is where this fragrance earns its longevity. Tobacco and vetiver hold the base for hours, woody and slightly sweet, with a birch tar shadow that never quite leaves. As the hours pass, the smoke softens into something almost mineral, a trace of char that clings to skin like a memory of the night before.
Cultural impact
Green Lunar has carved out a quiet following among wearers who describe it as the scent of a nighttime outdoor moment, which is rarer than it sounds in a category often dominated by safe, crowd-pleasing compositions. It sits in conversations between collectors who chase atmosphere and specificity rather than mass appeal. Wearers tend to reach for it in cooler weather or after dark, treating it less as a daily driver and more as a mood piece. Its cannabis accord is distinctive enough to draw notice without leaning on stereotype, and that balance is what gives the fragrance its staying power in rotation.
