Great Lei is a Hawaiian coming-of-age story rendered in scent, composed by Na-Moya Lawrence and released through Samar in 2023. Lawrence, one half of Samar alongside Debbie Lin, brings a sensibility shaped by place and memory to this composition. The fragrance reads as an atmospheric study of island warmth, one that lingers on the skin rather than dissipating into the air around it.
