The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
NEYDO translates dream imagery into wearable form, and Pulsation 11.07 captures a specific nocturnal moment: a crowded room at night, heat and music pressing in from all sides, the exact instant when a glance across the space creates an unmistakable connection. The perfumer worked with the visual memory of that pulse, that spark of recognition, and translated it into olfactory structure, building from smoke and sweetness through fruit toward something deeper and more lasting.
Each note in Pulsation 11.07 was selected to reflect a specific quality of that dream moment: incense for the smoky atmosphere of a packed venue, honey for the sweetness of accidental connection, apple for the crisp clarity of recognition. The tobacco and cedarwood base anchors the experience in something more lasting than the initial spark, a reminder that some exchanges leave residue.
The evolution
The opening recreates that first moment of contact in a room full of strangers, incense and honey striking the skin like the electricity of locked eyes. Sage adds an almost nervous energy, the awareness that something is about to shift. As the heart develops, the composition moves into the main event, apple brightness cutting through like a genuine response to that glance, fruity warmth deepening the connection. The drydown represents what remains afterward, tobacco and ambergris suggesting intimacy and complexity, cedarwood holding the memory in place long after the room has emptied.
Cultural impact
NEYDO showed at Pitti Fragranze 2025 alongside two new releases, expanding its dream‑fragrance line. Pulsation 11.07 sits warmer and sweeter in the house, drawing fans of honey and tobacco with its honest, un‑overstated charm that earns a loyal following. Its subtle blend has also inspired several indie perfumers who cite the scent as a reference point for balancing gourmand sweetness with aromatic depth.
