The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
2010. The Lollipop Bling series was already in full swing, and 'Mine Again' took its name from Mariah Carey's 2005 comeback anthem. That song, where she hit the high note that became legend. The fragrance is named for reclaiming something extraordinary, for wanting it again, and reaching out to take it. Laurent Le Guernec built the composition around that idea of sweetness that commands attention. Blood orange at the top for brightness, cotton candy and chocolate at the heart for warmth, vanilla and musk anchoring the whole thing so it lasts. Not a subtle fragrance. Not trying to be.
The combination of cotton candy and raspberry chocolate is what makes this one stand out within the Lollipop Bling line. Cotton candy is all about texture and nostalgia, the smell of fairs and childhood, airy and sweet. Raspberry chocolate adds a darker, more sophisticated sweetness underneath. Together they create something that reads as both playful and indulgent, like a dessert that's been dressed up for a special occasion. Heliotrope in the top notes adds a faint almond-cream quality that pulls the whole thing together before the drydown takes over. It's the most mature member of the Lollipop Bling family, but it doesn't hide where it came from.
The evolution
It starts bright. The blood orange arrives first, sharp, almost fizzy, a flash of citrus that doesn't linger. Blackcurrant adds a tart undertone so the sweetness doesn't overwhelm in the opening. Then the cotton candy moves in, and the whole composition softens. Within twenty minutes the raspberry chocolate appears, weaving through the sweetness with something darker and more adult. Magnolia keeps the heart from becoming too heavy, a quiet floral presence that prevents it from reading as purely dessert. By the second hour the drydown has taken over. Musk and tonka bean and vanilla become the story. The sweetness becomes warm rather than sharp, close rather than projected. Four to six hours on most skin types, moderate sillage, it stays near you rather than announcing itself across the room. The vanilla and musk linger longest, a quiet warmth on the skin the next morning.
Cultural impact
The Lollipop Bling line brought a playful, pop-glamour energy to the Mariah Carey fragrance collection. 'Mine Again' sits at the sweeter end of the range, cotton candy and chocolate with a mature edge that sets it apart. It's the fragrance for someone who wants warmth, sweetness, and a touch of spectacle without venturing into heavy or dark territory. The moderate sillage keeps it close and comfortable, making it a reliable choice for everyday wear with enough character to feel special.
