Why it exists.
The beginning
Jimmy Bodin built Jousset Parfums around a single, unapologetic idea: fragrance should taste like something. Strawberry & Whipped Cream, released as part of the Les Mignardises collection, is one of the most direct expressions of that thesis. Bodin took that premise and stripped it to three ingredients: strawberry, sugar, whipped cream. No twist, no subversion, no intellectual scaffolding. Just dessert, bottled. The composition reads as a literal translation of its name, each note present and accounted for, arranged with the clarity of a plated dessert where you can see every element. There's a sweetness here that doesn't apologize for itself, a fruit-forward brightness anchored by the soft, lactic comfort of cream.

The evolution
The first ten minutes are all fruit. Bright, almost jammy strawberry, the kind that splits open and runs. The strawberry loses its edge and gains weight, becoming something closer to jam folded into cream. By the forty-minute mark the whipped cream has taken over. Strawberry & Whipped Cream arrives as part of Les Mignardises, Jousset's collection of petit-four-inspired compositions. The fragrance takes a position that runs against the current of layered gourmand design: three notes, no apology. The bet is that some wearers want dessert without the detour. Where many gourmand releases stack vanillas, caramels, and base notes to build complexity, this one stays at the surface, refusing to bury its sweetness under scaffolding.
