Ilham Gold takes the warm, resinous heart of Oriental perfumery: honey, tobacco, vanilla, and opens it with something bright enough to feel familiar. Citrus as a bridge. Not a compromise. An invitation. The fragrance balances depth and approachability, letting the rich warmth of honey and the smoky depth of tobacco meet the clean lift of citrus. Vanilla threads through the composition, adding a creamy smoothness that holds everything together without weighing it down.
What makes this structure interesting is the lavender. It sits in the top accord alongside bergamot and lemon, which is unusual for an oriental-frankincense composition. Instead of opening with warmth that needs time to unpack, the lavender gives the citrus an aromatic edge, a herbal greenness that keeps the sweetness from reading as syrupy. The evolution
