Why it exists.
The beginning
Love High arrived in 2019, a peach-and-apple composition built around a soft floral heart and a creamy sandalwood base. The fragrance reads as a deliberate balancing act from the very first spray: the opening fruit is bright and sweet, but never slides into the syrupy register where so many peach-forward scents end up. Instead, the orange blossom and jasmine sambac act as a buffer zone, lending a white-flower softness that keeps the fruit lifted rather than sticky. The peach-apple-orange blossom heart dominates the early arc, juicy and dewy, with the orange blossom weaving through like sunlight through fabric. As the hours pass, the sandalwood takes over, warm and slightly milky, grounding every ounce of sweetness into something that feels substantial on skin.
What makes the structure work is the sandalwood. Most peach-and-apple compositions lean fully into the sugary register and stay there, which can read juvenile on skin. Here, the creamy wood note runs underneath from the heart phase onward, giving the fruit something to rest on. The jasmine sambac and orange blossom add a soft indolic warmth that bridges the bright top and the creamy base, their slightly rubbery, almost overripe quality lending an erotic softness to the otherwise innocent fruit.
The evolution
The first ten minutes are bright fruit, almost green-apple sharp, with peach already rounding the edges. The acidity of the apple gives the opening a crisp, just-bitten quality, while the peach underneath suggests something riper, almost bruised in its sweetness. Within thirty minutes the jasmine and orange blossom surface, softening everything into something closer to skin lotion than perfume, in the best possible way. The white florals here don't shout; they hum, their indolic warmth barely registering as flower so much as a creamy, lived-in softness against the skin. The sandalwood begins asserting itself around the two-hour mark, and by hour three or four it's the dominant voice, warm and slightly creamy with the ghost of peach still clinging. The drydown lingers for another two to three hours, mostly sandalwood with a faint sweetness.
