Olivier Cresp and Nicolas Bonneville structured the composition around marine as the backbone, then layered citrus and green apple for that immediate pop, and aromatic heart notes to keep it interesting past the first spray. The idea: confident masculinity without the performance.
The marine accord is the anchor here, not salt and water exactly, but the feeling of the sea. The top bursts with citrus and green apple, vivid and immediate. Then the heart opens up: lavender's herbal warmth, cardamom's spice, and just enough nutmeg to keep things grounded. The base settles into amberwood and guaiac wood, with elemi resin adding a clean, slightly sweet resinous quality underneath the musk. It's a straightforward summer fragrance done well, starts vivid, fades clean, never turns harsh.
