Golden Ambergris

The evolution

The opening announces itself with the full weight of white ambergris, salty, fecal, the smell of brackish tides and floating marine debris. This is not the idealized sea. The leather arrives quickly, smoothing the edges of the ambergris and giving the composition its first structural shift. As the fragrance develops, the sandalwood begins to warm and the orris softens everything into powder.
