The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Siski Pour Femme arrived in 2021 as part of The Dua Brand's Original Blend Collection, a line that houses A Dua Original Blend compositions. Siski lands firmly in the fruity-floral category, the kind of structure that pairs juicy top notes with a powdery floral heart and a warm, musked base. It's a familiar formula, but the layering here is deliberate, with toffee doing the bridging work between the bright opening and the soft, creamy drydown. The opening bursts forward with mandarin, grapefruit, and Italian bergamot slicing through in quick succession, each note catching the light differently and creating an almost effervescent first impression.
What makes this composition worth a second look is how the toffee functions. In most fruity-florals, the sweetness comes from the fruit itself, peach usually carrying the entire sugary load. Here, the toffee steps in underneath, adding a caramelized depth that keeps the peach from reading juvenile. The iris then powders the whole arrangement, giving it that velvety, skin-blur quality that makes violet-heavy florals feel expensive.
The evolution
The opening is all fruit and citrus, mandarin and grapefruit slicing through alongside Italian bergamot, bright enough to catch your attention from across a room. That sparkle doesn't vanish, but it does make room. Peach arrives next, ripe and round, settling into a heart where violet, iris, and rose de mai take over. The powder starts to gather, freesia and lily of the valley lending a green-edged sweetness that keeps things from going too dense. Then the toffee shows up, warm and golden, and everything shifts. The base settles into vanilla, patchouli, and white musk, and the fragrance takes on a quieter, more intimate register. Hours later, what's left on skin is a soft, creamy musk with traces of vanilla and that persistent iris powder, close, warm, and remarkably clean for something this sweet.
Cultural impact
Siski Pour Femme by The Dua Brand draws from a rich palette of spices, resins, and creamy florals, a combination that has long resonated with fragrance enthusiasts who appreciate warmth and depth in their compositions. The interplay of violet, iris, and rose de mai in the heart gives the scent a luxurious, almost tactile quality, while the base of vanilla, patchouli, and white musk grounds it in something familiar and comforting. The toffee note, woven through the entire structure, adds a caramelized sweetness that bridges the bright citrus opening and the creamy, musky drydown, creating a seamless arc from first spray to final hours.
