Salty Caramel Popcorn arrived in 2025 from The Dua Brand's Dua Designer Line, composed by perfumer Mahsam Raza. It's the house's take on the gourmand done right: popcorn, butter, caramel, vanilla, and sea salt, built to smell less like a candle and more like the real thing. No pretense. No floral detours. Just the snack, turned up to concert volume. The Dua Brand has built its catalog around a simple wager: that the architecture of a beloved scent can be reconstructed without the luxury markup. That approach shows up clearly here, where the perfumer leans into one clear idea instead of trying to impress with complexity. Mahsam Raza lets the popcorn note carry the opening, that warm, almost toasty aroma rising first before the butter rounds it out into something richer and more indulgent.
What makes the composition work isn't any single note, it's the friction between them. Salt against caramel creates a push and pull that keeps the composition alive, but adding popcorn and butter pushes the whole thing into territory most gourmands won't go.
