The beginning
Clear Atlantic Sea (also listed as Meridian Sea) arrived from The Dua Brand in 2022, part of the house's Inspired Expression / Dua Designer Line. The fragrance leans into the oceanic masculine category, drawing on the salt-and-citrus template that has shaped aquatics for years, but giving it enough wood, resin, and amber to carry through a full day. The Dua Brand released it as an Extrait de Parfum, a concentration choice that influences how the scent sits on skin and how long the development lasts. Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian lemon open the composition with a clean, sharp brightness, while aquatic accords and ambergris handle the marine salt.
What makes this composition worth a second look is the way the aquatic and amber halves refuse to cancel each other out.
