The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
The Kiss Collection arrived in spring 2015, including L'Eau Kiss. The fragrance features three flankers, each housed in a 20ml bottle printed with tiny kiss marks. Visual artist Vahram Muratyan created the campaign's animated road trip, exclusively for French Vogue. The scent opens with bright citrus that feels light and clean, transitioning into softer floral notes that create an intimate, understated impression.
Sweet pea is the quiet rebel here, a note most houses use as background filler, elevated to heart position. Citruses open clean but don't overstay, handing the composition off to that musky-caramel base that defines the Candy lineage. Benzoin adds a resinous depth that keeps the sweetness from going flat. It's a study in restraint wearing a sweet tooth: luxurious without being precious, addictive without being aggressive.
The evolution
The opening arrives quick and bright, citrus oils that feel like they've been sugared overnight. Within minutes, the sweet pea blooms, pushing the citrus into the background like a memory of sharpness. The drydown is the whole point: white musk and caramel merging into something that smells like skin but better. By the end, it's just enough to catch when you move your wrist close to your face. The presence carries through most of the day.
Cultural impact
The Kiss Collection's 20ml format presents the fragrance in an intimate, portable vessel. The scent opens with bright citrus that feels clean and almost careless, transitioning smoothly into softer floral notes. The fragrance settles into a warm base that remains close to the skin, creating an understated and personal impression.
