Why it exists.
The beginning
The name Globos de Chicle evokes the kind of confectionery memory most people never quite grow out of, that sticky-sweet, slightly artificial pull of chewing gum stretched across an afternoon. Jarekhye Covarrubias built the composition around that single, almost absurd idea. The candy memory gets wrapped around a white floral heart, letting tuberose and jasmine do the heavy lifting beneath the sweetness. What comes out the other side is a fragrance that leans hard into its own silliness, treating bubble gum not as a gimmick but as a structural element, a base note in everything but name. The synthetic-fruity brightness sits up top, while the florals anchor it, giving the composition a body that most pure candy accords never achieve.
Rather than reproducing any specific confection, the composition aims for something closer to the idea of bubble gum itself, the universal shorthand for sweet, chewy, and just a little bit artificial.
