The evolution

The ginger keeps the composition from becoming simply sweet, a clean heat that reads as spice without fire. By the drydown, the bergamot fades and the marshmallow-to-green-tea accord lingers close to skin, powdery-sweet and warm for several hours. On fabric, the green tea stays longest. The sweetness fades faster on skin than on cloth. Most agree on a four-to-six-hour arc, respectable for an Eau Fraîche, impressive for something this light.
