The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
The Pusheen collection arrived in 2025 as Aura's most whimsical offering yet. Where the 2019 fragrances played it classic and composed, the Pusheen line throws that restraint out the window. Meow & Forever takes the internet's most beloved cartoon cat and translates her into scent, sweet, playful, and entirely unbothered by convention. It's fragrance as personality expression, made for people who've always wanted their signature to come with whiskers.
Cotton candy as a solo top note is a statement. No bergamot to temper it, no citrus to sharpen it, just pure spun sugar from the first breath. The heart doubles down with strawberry and vanilla sugar, creating a preserves-and-frosting effect that smells good enough to eat. Then tonka and raspberry arrive to add warmth without weight. The whole structure reads as cozy rather than heavy, confectionery without the guilt trip.
The evolution
It opens cotton candy-bright and stays there for about five minutes. Then the strawberry creeps in, sweet and jammy, turning the air around you into something that smells like a bakery case. Vanilla sugar smooths the transition. By hour two, the tonka arrives, warm, nutty, with just enough raspberry acidity to keep things from getting one-note. Lasts around 4-6 hours depending on skin, staying close and intimate the whole time. The next morning, you'll catch a ghost of sugar on your wrist.
Cultural impact
Sweet-tooth fragrances have always had their crowd. Meow & Forever leans fully into that territory, trading nuance for charm. It's the kind of scent that makes people smile, not because it's sophisticated, but because it smells like something good. The 2025 launch tapped into nostalgia for childhood treats, making cotton candy a statement rather than just a sweet smell.
