Mahsam Raza built Lemon Rinds in 2023 as part of The Dua Brand's Dua Designer Line, a fragrance built around the moment you zest a lemon and the air crackles with brightness. The composition is a study in that single gesture, amplified. Sicilian lemon and kaffir lime layer over each other until the rind feels less like a fruit and more like a state of mind. Raza's approach leans into the brightness without dilution, adding ginger for snap and salt for the kind of mineral edge that turns a simple citrus into something you remember at noon. The interplay between the two citrus notes creates a faceted opening that shifts between sharp and aromatic, while the ginger cuts through with a clean warmth that never tips into full spice territory.
