The original's signature rests on its almond note, the way it hangs over a vanilla and musk spine with the kind of weight that made Hypnotic Poison a fixture on vanities for decades. Dua's version translates that structure into an Extrait de Parfum, preserving the gourmand architecture while offering its own interpretation of the composition. The 2020 launch entered Dua's Inspired Expression collection, the line dedicated to these architectural homages to designer originals.
What makes this composition distinctive isn't the almond.
