The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
100 Whispers Of The Goddess arrived in 2023 as part of The Dua Brand's Dua Designer Line, an inspired hybrid that draws from two very different worlds. On one side sits Nishane's Hundred Silent Ways, a fragrance celebrated for its distinctive approach to composition. On the other, Burberry Goddess, a well-known release in its own right. The Dua Brand takes existing fragrance profiles and reworks them into something new, a process that involves studying both halves before merging them. This particular blend stitches together the character of one with the warmth of the other, creating something that feels neither fully like either source but entirely its own creature.
What makes this hybrid interesting isn't just the combination but the collision of textures. Hundred Silent Ways brings its own particular character to the mix, while Goddess contributes its signature warmth. The Dua Brand threads them together by pulling the shared throughline: white florals meeting vanilla warmth. Peach adds a ripe, slightly fuzzy sweetness that bridges the gap between cool floral and warm gourmand, acting as a translator between two scent languages that might otherwise struggle to communicate.
The evolution
The first 15 minutes are deceptively bright. Mandarin orange and a thread of ginger cut through, clean and slightly sharp, the way citrus behaves when it's been dressed in jasmine. Then the florals arrive, not in a single wave but in layers. Lavender comes first, herbal and almost medicinal, cooling the opening into something crisp. Gardenia and jasmine follow, creamy and full, carrying the peach with them into something ripe and soft. Tuberose hums underneath, never quite dominant, just adding weight. By the two-hour mark the composition has shifted entirely. The citrus is gone. The florals have settled into a warm haze. What remains is the base: sandalwood, vetiver, a Bourbon vanilla that reads richer than the opening ever promised, and cacao sitting low and earthy.
Cultural impact
Wearers describe 100 Whispers Of The Goddess as the scent of someone who doesn't need to fill a room to be noticed. The fragrance earns quiet loyalty from those who want softness with substance, a balance that comes through in how the white florals and the vanilla warmth negotiate throughout the wear. It's a hybrid that doesn't demand attention but rewards the attention you give it, revealing more of itself the longer it sits on skin.
