The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
The Fearless arrived in 2026 as part of Speaks To Me's Vol.3: Person.all Collection, a release that sits within a growing catalog marked by titles like Healing Trail, Slow Sunset, Girl Friends Forever, and Down the Aisle, names that read like bookmarks in someone's life rather than SKU codes on a shelf. The Fearless continues that thread with a title that gestures inward, toward a quality of spirit rather than a moment in time. No perfumer has been publicly credited for the composition. What the house offers instead is a question: what does fearlessness smell like when you strip away the cinematic poses and let it speak quietly? The fragrance answers by refusing to perform.
The answer sits in the structure. Cognac arrives alone in the opening, an already-warm spirit note carrying its own heat without needing citrus or mint to frame it. Then the heart pairs cinnamon with oat, a combination that smells less like a spice rack and more like a kitchen at the hour something's just come out of the oven, that soft, yeasted warmth mixed with the curl of spice. Tonka Bean bridges into a base built around praline, vanilla, sandalwood, and woody notes, a sweetness that draws its depth from grain and timber rather than confectionery sugar.
The evolution
The opening minutes belong almost entirely to the cognac. It arrives dry, almost boozy, warming up on skin like a glass held between both palms. Then cinnamon slides in alongside it, and for a stretch the composition reads more like a holiday candle than a fragrance, warm spice with that fermented edge, a glow rather than a flash. The oat doesn't announce itself through any single note; it shows up in the texture, softening the sharpness until the whole thing feels edible without being literally sweet, more biscuit than dessert. As the wear continues, the praline asserts itself and the composition settles into a sustained plateau of vanilla, sandalwood, and praline that sits close to skin for the remainder of the day.
Cultural impact
The Fearless sits within a brand whose identity leans heavily on the idea of fragrance as personal narrative, and the composition leans into that thesis without requiring the wearer to perform anything for anyone. The cognac-cinnamon-praline architecture carries clear gourmand warmth, but the inclusion of oat and the restraint placed on the sweetness give it a quiet, lived-in quality that reads more like 'someone you trust' than 'something you crave.' That tension, between comfort and composure, between edible warmth and grown-up restraint, gives the fragrance its particular gravity.
