Soothing Zephyr

The note pyramid is deceptively simple, jasmine over amber over musk. But that simplicity is the point. Each material is given room to breathe. Jasmine does not fight with tonka bean; they take turns. The oakmoss in the base is not aggressive, it is there to anchor the sweetness, to keep the tonka bean's vanillic warmth from floating away. The evolution

The opening is jasmine, a clean and slightly sweet floral note that does not announce itself loudly. After some time, amber begins to surface, arriving warm and full, almost edible, and the tonka bean follows close behind, adding that characteristic coumarin sweetness that smells like vanilla but cleaner, sharper. This middle phase is where the fragrance feels most complete, the longest phase and the most present on skin. The woods then begin to assert themselves, not loud, more like a foundation being laid. Musk follows, soft and close, and what you are left with is a skin scent that someone standing beside you might catch but a room will not. The oakmoss fades last, leaving a faint earthiness that reminds you the whole thing started with something green.
