V.8 Abundance emerges as a love letter to the Australian landscape, translating mineral soil, native botanicals, and instinctive warmth into something worn close to skin. Co-created by Jacques Huclier and Amélie Jacquin, what resulted feels less constructed than discovered, as if the scent was already embedded in the land and bottled. The numbered chapter structure of Map of the Heart positions V.8 as a middle passage, neither the earliest experimentation nor the latest evolution. It carries the same heart-shaped bottle Pierre Dinand gave the collection, clear glass, no decoration, the silhouette doing all the work. This fragrance captures something essential about the Australian terrain, a quality that reads as authenticity rather than artifice.
The Australian Flame Tree is the compass here. It arrives green, mineral, and slightly resinous, a botanical that reads as landscape rather than ingredient. The evolution
