The beginning
Francis Kurkdjian built his house on a singular idea: fragrance as a wardrobe. The note structure is deceptively simple, bergamot, sweet pea, mock orange, white musk, but the execution is where MFK's expertise shows. Bergamot opens clean and persistent. Mock orange (philadelphus) is a less-seen material that adds a dewy, slightly honeyed floral note that most people can't name but immediately recognize as pleasant.
