The combination is deceptively simple. Lavender brings an aromatic, slightly medicinal freshness that most oud fragrances don't bother with, they lean straight into resin and darkness. The evolution

The opening is lavender first, clean, a little herbal, with the kind of sharpness that announces itself before it settles. This phase carries on for a while, with vanilla taking the lead, sweet and creamy, while the oud sits quietly beneath the surface, not yet claiming its moment. Then the hand-off arrives. The vanilla begins to thin. The oud thickens.
