De Broglie first became involved in gardening-related endeavors in 1991, developing his vision before officially founding the brand in 1995. The brand operates today under Deyrolle SAS, a company whose own heritage traces back to 1831 when Jean-Baptiste Deyrolle opened his eponymous shop in Paris. Deyrolle became renowned as an entomology destination, creating a space dedicated to the study and appreciation of nature.
