White champaca, with its waxy petals and creamy citrus character, offered something Vel'menko wanted: a flower that is simultaneously delicate and substantial. The fragrance opens with bright citrus notes that prepare the senses for the rich floral heart. As the composition develops, tropical fruit notes emerge to support the magnolia, adding brightness without overwhelming its natural elegance. The creamy, waxy quality of the white champaca remains present throughout, grounding the fragrance in its floral origins while allowing other elements to dance around its edges.
Magnolia Alba is the heart of this composition. Vel'menko wanted to evoke a magnificent floral-fruity accord, and she chose Magnolia Alba essential oil as the central idea, a material with a distinctive waxy, creamy character and a citrus undertone that feels almost green. To support the exotic fruity part of magnolia, she recomposed an olfactory bouquet of passion fruit and mango. The white champaca brings a thick, honeyed quality, and the rose gives the composition body and a certain saturation. The tropical fruits weave through the floral heart, adding dimension without becoming dominant.
