Why it exists.
The beginning
Star Confidence arrived as part of Charlotte Tilbury's Collection of Emotions. Perfumer Juliette Karagueuzoglou worked with IFF to build something that could translate an abstract emotional ambition into something you wear on skin. The result pairs blackcurrant's natural brightness, the kind of fruit that doesn't wait for permission, with jasmine's depth and an oakmoss base that gives the whole composition its anchor. The blackcurrant opens with a sharp, vibrant quality that immediately catches attention, while the jasmine adds a rich, floral complexity that lingers beneath the surface. The oakmoss in the base provides an earthy, grounding element that anchors the brighter top notes and gives the fragrance its structural backbone.
