The cherry doesn't mellow, it deepens into something fermented and inevitable. The perfumer describes it as a memory becoming more precise and amplified over time, which explains the Extrait's denser concentration and longer arc. The original EdP introduced the tobacco-cherry duality; the Extrait pushes it further, adding depth and richness to every phase. The concentrated formula allows the interplay between tobacco and cherry to unfold with greater nuance, revealing layers that the original only hinted at.
