The brand's naming convention was simple and seductive: an everyday craving placed between a familiar object and its sensory destination. Strawberries already had a few siblings in the catalogue, but Indulgence was the one that reached for the cigarette after dessert. The source materials describe it as a limited perfume, created for Pretty Indulgent, a curation that seemed to give the house room to lean into its gourmand instincts. The formula takes a familiar strawberry note and pushes it toward the opulent, trading bright fruit for something warm, spiced, and quietly narcotic.
What separates this from a typical strawberry composition is the structural tension between indulgence and restraint. The strawberry cream and caramel pull toward confection, while opium, tobacco, and white amber drag the whole thing into a smoldering, late-night register. Vanilla Absolute and a second vanilla layer stack the sweetness deliberately, but the tobacco refuses to let the sugar stay innocent.
