The Story
Why it exists.
Nyla Vani-Elle arrives as part of Arabiyat Prestige's ongoing love affair with the Nyla series, a line that keeps finding new angles on familiar materials. Here, the house turned to Elodie Bernard to take vanilla somewhere it's been many times before and somehow make it feel fresh again. The brief seems simple: make vanilla interesting. The execution is anything but.

The Beginning
Nyla Vani-Elle arrives as part of Arabiyat Prestige's ongoing love affair with the Nyla series, a line that keeps finding new angles on familiar materials. Here, the house turned to Elodie Bernard to take vanilla somewhere it's been many times before and somehow make it feel fresh again. The brief seems simple: make vanilla interesting. The execution is anything but.
What makes Vani-Elle work is the layering. Vanilla appears in both the opening and the base, but the opening vanilla is bright, almost green, pulled from the bean itself. The base vanilla is cooked, warm, softened by tonka and musk into something that clings rather than projects. The jasmine acts as the pivot point between these two states, adding a floral brightness that stops the sweetness from pooling. The result is a fragrance that moves, that earns its longevity by changing shape over the hours rather than simply holding steady.
The Evolution
The opening announces itself immediately: vanilla bean and jasmine, creamy and luminous, the jasmine lending a clean floral cut through the sweetness. For the first hour, this is what you smell. Then the caramel arrives, not aggressively, but with a honeyed warmth that deepens the composition without tipping into confectionery. The amber amplifies this, adding resinous body. By hour three, the top notes have largely gone quiet and the base takes over: vanilla, tonka bean, and musk in a soft, powdery embrace that holds close to the skin. On fabric, this phase can last into the next day.
Cultural Impact
Arabiyat Prestige has built a reputation for making Gulf-inspired luxury accessible, and Nyla Vani-Elle continues that mission with a twist on regional preferences. The Gulf fragrance market has long favored oud and rose-forward compositions, but gourmand notes have carved out a growing niche among younger collectors and daily wearers. Vani-Elle represents a bridge between Western dessert-scent trends and Middle Eastern taste for rich, warm aromas that linger. The 2024 launch arrived during a peak period for vanilla-forward fragrances globally, yet Vani-Elle distinguished itself through its amber spine, preventing the scent from sliding into mere sweetness.

A late-night warmth. Vanilla bean and jasmine open like lights left on in a quiet room, warm, inviting, already settled. The caramel heart is a low hum, soft and continuous. This fragrance sounds like a playlist you'd make for yourself, no audience, just comfort.
