The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
In 2018 Teone Reinthal set out to bottle the crisp clarity of a spring morning using only pure, alcohol-free oils. Building on TRNP's 2014 Italian roots, where each scent is hand-blended from natural extracts, he chose bright neroli and green-tinged petitg rain as the opening duo. The heart gathers neroli, jasmine, and sandalwood into a unified bloom rather than a layered progression.
By limiting the structure to heart notes alone, TRNP allows each botanical to speak without the typical fixative architecture. Neroli provides the initial brightness, jasmine adds complexity, sandalwood lends warmth, and petitg rain maintains a green thread throughout. The absence of separate opening or drydown phases reflects a philosophy where the fragrance feels immediate and cohesive, never shifting into territory the wearer did not expect.
The evolution
Arjuna begins with its heart already in place, as neroli and petitg rain establish the fragrance's bright, citrus-forward character from the first spray. Jasmine enters quietly, adding a floral depth that balances the crispness without overpowering. Sandalwood anchors the composition, offering creamy warmth that prevents the florals from becoming too delicate. The absence of a distinct drydown means the heart notes simply evolve tog ether, with sandalwood becoming slightly more pronounced as the other elements settle into the skin.
Cultural impact
Since its 2018 debut, Arjuna has become a quiet favorite among collectors who value natural‑oil purity. The fragrance is often cited in niche forums for its transparent composition and strong sillage, proving that an alcohol‑free perfume can still command attention. Its unisex appeal and balanced green‑citrus‑floral‑woody profile have placed it alongside other TRNP staples in discussions about sustainable niche perfumery, reinforcing the brand’s reputation as a laboratory for honest olfactory stories.
