Unleash The Python is part of The Dua Brand's Inspired Expression collection, composed by Mahsam Raza. The name alone carries weight, coiled and patient, the kind of suggestion that sets expectations before a single drop hits skin. The notes confirm what the name promises. Geranium opens with a green, almost sharp clarity that reads as botanical rather than sweet. Frankincense arrives next, bringing a mineral coolness, something ancient and resinous, grounding the composition in gravity. Then there's the oud, and this is where the fragrance earns its name. That animal undertone lurking underneath the green and grey gives Python its menace. Raza built a triangle with no weak side.
What makes this composition interesting is its discipline. Three notes, no ornamental top or base listed. Geranium brings an aromatic, almost minty clarity that keeps the frankincense from tipping into pure liturgical heaviness. Then the oud arrives and the whole thing shifts, pulling the green into something darker and more resinous.
