The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
The copper bottle marks the first anniversary of LVERS. Inspired by the metallic trunks from Pharrell Williams' debut Louis Vuitton collection as men's creative director, it draws from the house's historical use of copper in the 19th century to line explorers' trunks. Only 30 numbered bottles were produced. Hand-crafted near Florence. Each one will patina over time, turning darker, more personal. The scent inside mirrors that restraint, bright, clear, then quietly yours.
What's interesting is the tension between the copper and the scent. The bottle ages dramatically. The fragrance doesn't, it arrives clean and stays clean, only deepening in warmth rather than evolving into something unrecognizable. Galbanum and bergamot open bright and clear, then ginger bridges the gap before sandalwood and cedarwood settle in. A woody-green composition that's powdery, aromatic, and balsamic without being heavy. The ginger doesn't compete with the green, it deepens it. The wood doesn't project, it stays close.
The evolution
The opening hits crisp. Galbanum and bergamot, bright, clear, green without being sharp. A minute in, the wood arrives. Cedar and sandalwood anchor everything down. The ginger doesn't fade, it deepens, becomes more resinous as the base notes layer in. By the end, what lingers is a dry, woody warmth that stays close to the skin. Not a room-filler. A skin-friend. Lasts through the afternoon, though the drydown can fade closer to evening depending on skin chemistry.
Cultural impact
The limited run of 30 bottles makes this a collector's piece from the moment it launched. For those who secure one, the scent offers a woody-green profile that rewards attention, a fragrance that whispers rather than shouts, built for presence rather than projection. Its restrained character sets it apart in a market saturated with loud performers.
