L' Assam Tiger takes its name directly from the agarwood materials listed in its formula, with Assam and Cambodian oud positioned as the structural pillars of the entire composition. Kubitay Parfums builds the fragrance around these two oud origins, a dual-oud architecture that gives the scent its geographic weight and its central tension. The evolution

The composition opens dense and smoky, driven by the immediate presence of the two oud origins working in tandem. The Cambodian and Assamese ouds land simultaneously, each contributing its own register while pulling the opening into a fuller, more dimensional space than either could achieve alone. As the hours pass, the smoke softens and benzoin begins to surface, pulling the scent toward a warmer amber phase that smooths the rougher oud edges without smoothing them out entirely. The transition feels organic rather than staged, as if the materials are shifting priorities rather than rotating in and out. In the later hours of wear, the drydown settles into a benzoin-amber resin trail with a faint animalic hum still detectable beneath the sweeter surface.
