Scandal Pour Homme Le Parfum arrived in 2022 as the amplified cousin of the original Scandal. Three perfumers, Quentin Bisch, Natalie Gracia-Cetto, and Christophe Raynaud, looked at what made the first version work and decided more was the answer. Not a rethink. An escalation. The brief wasn't subtle. It was take everything that made Scandal work and push harder.

The Beginning
Scandal Pour Homme Le Parfum arrived in 2022 as the amplified cousin of the original Scandal. Three perfumers, Quentin Bisch, Natalie Gracia-Cetto, and Christophe Raynaud, looked at what made the first version work and decided more was the answer. Not a rethink. An escalation. Geranium as the sole top note is a confident choice. Most masculine fragrances lean into citrus or aromatic herbs that signal 'fresh' immediately. Geranium does something different, it's herbal but with a camphorated edge that smells clean without being sterile. The tonka bean heart delivers everything the name promises: coumarin-rich sweetness, that vanillic warmth, and underneath it all, a coconut-adjacent creaminess that people pick up even when it isn't listed. Sandalwood at the base keeps the sweetness from overwhelming. Three notes. All pulling weight.
The Evolution
Geranium opens bright and herbal, cool rather than warm, with that slightly medicinal green that grabs attention without apologizing for it. Within minutes, tonka bean pushes through, swelling into the composition with its lactonic sweetness. This is where it becomes less 'fresh morning' and more 'late evening.' The sweetness doesn't cloy on most skin, but it does announce itself. As it settles, sandalwood emerges as a creamy, woody counterweight, keeping everything grounded instead of让它浮到too airy. The drydown lasts into the night on most skin types. A subtle warmth that clings to fabric long after the initial hit fades.
Cultural Impact
Scandal Pour Homme Le Parfum arrived in 2022 as part of the Scandal line. It occupies a particular space, sweet enough to be sensual, structured enough to be masculine, bold enough to turn heads at a dinner table without screaming across a boardroom. The fragrance opens with a warm, inviting sweetness that gives way to deeper, more resinous tones as it settles on the skin. Its projection is confident but not overwhelming, creating an aura that lingers in memory long after the wearer has left the room. The scent transforms throughout the day, revealing new facets that keep it interesting from first spray to final dry-down.

This fragrance moves like late-night confidence, bold, warm, and unafraid to be noticed. The songs here carry that same energy: provocative pop that owns the room, wrapped in enough polish to stay sophisticated. Play it when you're getting ready for an evening out, not the morning commute.
